HIP, HIP, Hurrah, HIPs GONE AT LAST

Form tomorrow, 21st May 2010, HIPs have been suspended.

Although we are a HIP's provider, we are absolutely delighted by this decision of the new government.  HIP's have been unpopular right from the beginning.  In our view they have never worked.

They spawned a totally unnecessary level of bureaucracy in the housing market, cost people a fortune and were universally disliked. 

Sellers will still need to get an energy performance certificate before going on the market.  We will still be supplying these.  An EPC must be ready by 28 days from the date the property goes on the market.  For the time being, if you need an EPC contact us by telephone.
